The Night the Coal Stole Krampus (ebook + audio)
The Night the Coal Stole Krampus is inspired by William Blake's "The Chimney Sweeper" and the horrific history behind child chimney sweeps in the 1800s. It wasn't uncommon for young boys to be sold by their impoverished parents to Master Sweeps who would force them to crawl up impossibly narrow flues, becoming engulfed in soot. On some occasions, children would become lodged in the flue, and it would be fatal. These young boys grew up to experience great difficulty and cancer resulting in them rarely living beyond middle age.
This story serves as a reminder that there are hurting people during this season, but a little kindness goes a long way.
Christmas has never been alive for young Robert, so why should it be alive for everyone else? A story of woe and wonderful that will remind you of the true joy of Christmas.
